Nagahama Hachiman Shrine

Hachiman Shrine is home to the god of martial arts. Throughout the year, religious ceremonies and festivals are held to pray for bountiful harvests and good health in the region. The New Year countdown is held from 12/31-1/1. In April, there is the Nagahama Hikiyama Festival, a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Property. In June, the water area is decorated with hydrangeas, and more. It's a great place for a quick stroll.
