Mikuni Minato Town

Mikuni Minato-cho flourished through the Kitamaebune trade from the Edo period to the early Meiji period. Even today, you can still feel the history and bustle of the past in the old townscape, such as townhouses with charming lattice doors and merchant houses that retain the traces of wealthy merchants.
